With systems to recycle gypsum board set up in Scandinavia, Holland, Ireland, UK, USA and Japan, we are already operating on three continents, and are able to easily expand to cover new areas by bringing the mobile recycling unit to new plants to handle the recycling process.

In accordance with our win-win business model, Gypsym Recycling International will take care of all aspects of establishing the system to recycle gypsum board while the industry will use the recycled gypsum powder, which Gypsum Recycling International will sell at a price well below that of virgin gypsum raw materials. We welcome requests from gypsum board manufacturing companies as well as from waste collection companies.

Generally the tipping fees for landfilling gypsum waste have been going up everywhere in Europe the last few years. With EU legislation in effect classifying gypsum waste as non-inert waste that has to be landfilled in special monocells for high sulphate containing waste, this development is bound to continue at increasing speed.

This will further increase the attractiveness of the Scandinavian Solution, and will make it obvious to everyone that gypsum board waste should not be landfilled, but instead be recycled and reused in the production of new virgin gypsum materials.
