Recycle sheetrock
Gypsum Recycling International specialises in developing systems to recycle sheetrock for the sheetrock industry. Our specially developed technology makes it possible for the industry to recycle sheetrock without having to invest in expensive equipment as outlined in the win-win business model:- Gypsum Recycling International will take care of all aspects of establishing the system to recycle sheetrock
- The industry will use the recycled gypsum powder coming fromt the recyling of sheetrock which Gypsum Recycling International will sell at a price well below that of virgin gypsum raw materials
- The industry will not need to make any investments to become involved
This is possible due to our mobile recycling equipment which can be dismantled in a few hours and transported anywhere within the continent where the unit is active. So far, we are operating active recycling units in three continents and so it is relatively straight forward to expand the system to cover new areas.
The recycling unit is designed to recycle sheetrock from rebuilds, demolition, new construction waste, dunnage/underlayers and production scrap.
Similarly the recycling unit will allow waste that is not clean or pure in its form, and even foreign objects most often found in demolition waste can be handled.
Finally it is worth noticing that it does not matter whether the sheetrock that becomes waste was originally made out of natural raw gypsum or FGD/DSG gypsum.
About Gypsum Recycling International
Gypsum Recycling International is the mother company of the internationally operating Gypsum Recycling Group. Gypsum Recycling International is the first company worldwide to have implemented a complete and commercially based system for recycling of all kinds of sheetrock waste.
The system was introduced in Denmark in 2001, and has since been expanded to cover new countries very quickly. Gypsum Recycling International launched its win-win business model at the Global Gypsum Conference in Barcelona in 2003, and since then there has been a rapid development and sheetrock recycling has been established in ten countries on three continents.
Gypsum Recycling Internationals system to recycle sheetrock provides benefits to all parties involved, and accordingly the basis of the system is common business sense rather than bans or regulations regarding landfilling of plasterboard waste.
